Contacts is your list of people. Formspring adds a person when they fill in a form, answer a survey, go through a funnel, or reach you in another way, so you can see everything one person has done instead of hunting through separate inboxes.
Open Contacts in the dashboard.
Plans
Contacts is included on Pro, Team, and Scale. It is not available on Free. See Plans.
How people get on the list
Each contact records where it first turned up, shown as First seen via: a form, survey, funnel, booking, Bio page, your own app, or Manual when you added them yourself.
Your own app can identify people to Formspring too, and a person is recognized by an email address or a User ID (your own ID for them), so the same person is not listed twice.
Find people
The list shows Name, Company, First seen via, Responses, and Last activity. Narrow it with:
- the search box - by name, email, or company
- a segment - a saved group of people (the default is Everyone)
- All sources - where they first turned up
- Any channel - Has email or Has phone
- Any time - seen in the last 7, 30, or 90 days
Choose Clear to reset the filters.
Add a contact
- Choose Add contact.
- Enter an Email or a User ID. Name, company, and city are optional.
- Choose Add contact.
A contact's page
Click a name to open the person. You will find:
- Activity - a timeline of their forms, surveys, funnels, and Response Desk conversations.
- Details - phone, user ID, other details, and when they were first and last seen.
- The segments they currently match.
- Consent, notes, and duplicates - see Notes and marketing consent and Duplicates and merging.
Choose Edit details to change the email, user ID, name, company, or city. Choose Email to write to them from your own mail app.
Erase a contact
Erase contact permanently removes a person's profile, details, and survey responses. It is meant for erasure requests, runs in the background, and cannot be undone. You are asked to confirm first.
