The client portal gives each client a board over the funnels you have built for them. They see new leads as they arrive, move them through your pipeline stages, and add notes - without an account in your wider workspace. The portal is built on funnel submissions.
It needs agency mode on the Team or Scale plan. See the overview.
The portal area
The portal has four tabs:
| Tab | What it does |
|---|---|
| Board | Pick a funnel, then see its submissions as cards in stage columns. |
| Stages | Edit the pipeline stages. |
| Invites | Invite clients and manage who has access. |
| Portal settings | Brand the portal. A Client accounts tab links to your client accounts. |
The board
Drag a card to another column to move that submission to a new stage. Open a card to see its
notes and its activity feed. Notes can mention teammates with @ followed by their
email. You can select several cards and apply a bulk action to up to 500 at once: move to
stage, assign, tag, or export.
Stages
New funnels start with five stages: New, Qualified, Demo Booked, Won, and Lost. Edit them on the Stages tab:
- Team default - the stages every funnel uses unless it has its own.
- Per-funnel override - pick a funnel and give it a different set. Clear the override to go back to the team default.
- Reorder with the arrows, rename a stage, change its color, or add and remove stages. At least one stage must remain.
Invite a client
- Open Portal → Invites.
- Enter the client's Email.
- Choose a role: Viewer or Editor.
- Choose what they can see: Specific funnels, or One whole project. A project invite includes funnels you add to it later and nothing else in your workspace.
- Choose Send invite.
The invite email links to a page where the client accepts. The link works for 14 days. Clients are never given a staff role in your workspace, whatever role you pick.
Manage clients
The invites table shows each client's status and the actions that apply:
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Resend | Sends the invite again. |
| Pause | Closes the portal for that client at once. Resume brings it back. |
| Archive | Pending links stop working and a joined client loses access. Restore sends a fresh invite. |
Access is taken back in the background after you pause or archive.
Brand the portal
Open Portal settings and fill in Branding: the Display name, a Logo URL, the Brand, Surface, and Text colors, and the Body font and Heading font. Choose Save branding. To serve the portal on your own domain, see Portal custom domain.
Only the owner and admins can invite clients and change portal branding.
