A client account is a workspace of its own that belongs to your agency. Its people sign in separately and see only the projects you have assigned to it. Forms and submissions stay yours - assigning a project shares it, it does not move it. Client accounts use your agency's plan, so a client does not need a subscription of their own.
Agency mode must be on first. See the overview.
Create a client account
- Open Settings → Agency. The Clients tab opens first.
- Choose New sub-account.
- Enter the Client name and pick a Permission:
- Editor - the client can edit forms.
- Read-only - the client can view only.
- Choose Create sub-account.
You can change the permission later from the table, and rename an account with the pencil next to its name.
Add people to a client account
In the Clients table, choose People on a row to manage who belongs to that account. They sign in to their own account and see only what is assigned to it.
Assign projects
Projects group forms, surveys, and funnels (see Projects). There are two ways to assign one:
- In the Clients table, use Assign project... on the client's row. Remove a project with the small x on its chip.
- Open the project, and in its agency card pick the client from the dropdown (choose Unassigned to take it back).
Members of the client account then see that project's forms in their dashboard.
Notifications for assigned projects
The client is always told about new submissions and bookings in a project assigned to them. On the project's agency card, turn on Also notify my agency team to get those notifications too.
Delete a client account
Choose the trash icon on the row and confirm. The account's logins are revoked and its projects are unassigned. Forms and submissions remain in your agency. This cannot be undone, and the deletion runs in the background.
