Agency mode overview

Run client work from one workspace - separate client accounts, assigned projects, and a client portal - and which plans include it.

Updated . 2 min read.

Agency mode is for people who build forms and funnels on behalf of clients. You keep everything in your own workspace, give each client their own account that sees only what you assign, and let clients follow their leads in a portal you brand.

Three pieces work together:

Piece What it is for
Client accounts (sub-accounts) One login space per client. A client sees only the projects you assign to them and never sees other clients.
Client portal A board where clients follow the submissions their funnels collect, move them through stages, and leave notes.
Portal custom domain Serve the portal on your own address, such as portal.youragency.com.

Plans

Agency mode is included on the Team and Scale plans. On Free and Pro the Agency settings show an upgrade prompt instead of the switch. See Plans for what each tier includes.

Client accounts cannot turn on agency mode themselves, and a client account cannot create client accounts of its own.

Turn it on

  1. Open Settings → Agency.
  2. Switch to the Settings tab.
  3. Under Agency mode, choose Enable agency mode.

You can switch it off again at any time. Client accounts you created stay in place but lose the new-client controls until you turn agency mode back on.

Only the workspace owner and admins can manage client accounts, invites, and portal settings. A member who has been limited to some projects cannot (see Roles & permissions).

Where things live

  • Settings → Agency → Clients - your client accounts and the projects each one has.
  • Settings → Agency → Settings - the agency switch, links to the portal, and the portal custom domain.
  • Portal - the board, stages, invites, and portal branding.
