Search and the setup guide

Jump anywhere with Cmd+K, and use the Setup guide to learn or replay the tour of each Formspring feature.

Updated . 2 min read.

Two shortcuts help you find your way around: the search palette and the Setup guide.

Search with Cmd+K

Press Cmd+K (on Windows or Linux, Ctrl+K), or choose the search button in the header, to open the palette. It searches pages, settings and forms.

  1. Start typing - for example "tokens", "billing", or the name of a form.
  2. Use the arrow keys to move through the results.
  3. Press Enter to open one, or Esc to close the palette.

Results are grouped as Navigate, Create, Forms, and Settings. It reaches pages that are not in the main menu, such as API tokens or SDK keys, and has quick Create shortcuts. Items your plan does not include show a lock and take you to Billing.

The palette lists your forms by name.

The Setup guide

Formspring walks you through each feature the first time you use it: a short intro, a guided tour, and a checklist. The Setup guide collects them all in one place.

  1. Choose Setup guide in the header or at the foot of the sidebar.
  2. Each feature shows its progress, such as "2 of 5 steps", and a status: Not started, In progress, Done, or Skipped.
  3. Choose Start, Continue, or Replay.

You can skip a tour and come back to it any time from here. Features appear in the guide only if you have access to them.

For the short sign-up flow that points you at the right product, see The setup wizard. For a map of the dashboard, see Dashboard tour.
